He was such a nice guy and will always be remembered as "Dennis Oxoid", simply because he was the most memorable 'face' associated with that company.   While direct sponsorship was outlawed by the PHLS and NHS a number of years ago, Dennis always seemed to be able to continue the generous Oxoid support, when it was required.
